Schengen visas issued by Liechtenstein

Since 19 December 2011, Liechtenstein now fully applies the provisions of the Schengen Acquis. As of this date, foreigners residing in Liechtenstein who are subject to visa requirements are allowed to enter Germany and other states applying the Schengen Agreement for short stays of up to 90 days within any six month period with their passport and a residence permit issued by Liechtenstein; no further visa is required.

Beginning on 19 December 2011, Schengen visas issued even before that date by other countries also entitle the holder to enter Liechtenstein. Liechtenstein itself has begun issuing Schengen visas, which enable entry into other Schengen states, on 19 December 2011.
